Bachelors in Computer Science Engineering | August 2019 - September 2023
Doing my undergrad in Computer science made me familiar with how technology like computers, mobiles and other smaller or bigger devices work and why people must interact with it. In these four years, I worked on various technologies like Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning as well as Domains like Web Development and android development. The knowledge and skills I gained helped me understand how important it is to involve the users so that the products are made engaging.
Skillto | September 2022 - December 2022
During my three-month internship at Skillto, a renowned service-based company, I immersed myself in the dynamic world of UI/UX design. This role offered me a hands-on opportunity to contribute to impactful projects, honing my design skills and deepening my understanding of user-centric design principles and ultimately preparing me for future challenges and opportunities in the industry.
Actively involved in hands-on UX design projects, applying skills learned from my UX Bootcamp completing 3 mini-projects
Collaborated closely with 2 senior UX designers and 1 product manager, gaining insights into practical UX challenges and solutions in a service industry context.
Actively incorporated user and team feedback into design iterations for continuous improvement
Contributed to both web and mobile application interfaces, ensuring consistency and adaptability across platforms
Participated in user testing sessions to gather feedback and refine user interface elements.
UX Club | September 2023 - December 2023
Completed a Redesign project for a local App called VisitROC helping people to roam around Rochester. Identified the problem, Researched the pain points and ideated solutions. Fostered a more engaged community of users, with increased participation in in-app challenges and city exploration. Introduced gamification as a style to the new app to make the experience more fun and efficient.
Engaged in numerous group discussions, where each member brought unique perspectives to the table. Interacting with professionals during workshops and guest lectures allowed me to build connections that were invaluable for my professional growth.
As an active member of the club, I collaborated with other members of the club and worked on a project which helped deepen my understanding of the UX Design process.
